The Wicklow Mountains, outside of Dublin, hold some of the most incredible views and scenic hikes in the country. (In my humble opinion)

This waterfall was at the start of a few of the hiking routes in Wicklow. It’s serene beauty and untouched nature brought me such peace and grouding. I hope listening to the water falling does the same for you ✨

To ring in the last year of my 20s (😱), I treated myself to a Wellness Haircut with @discocowboychlo at the cutest salon, @discocowboycollective in Lancaster!

Chloe did an INCREDIBLE job of bringing my semi-shag dreams to life. She also gave me my first Reiki session! I’m telling you - I felt as light as a feather when she was done.

If you experience an afternoon crash, I have a solution for you! The afternoon crashes you experience are usually caused by caffeine levels decreasing and unstable blood sugar levels. 🩸

Many of us, myself included, drink coffee on an empty stomach - first thing in the morning. I did the same for yearssssss. The crashes I experienced had me yawning before noon and firing up the coffee maker again.

When we drink coffee without a buffer in our stomachs, our blood sugar levels go awry. By waiting until breakfast to drink a cup o’ joe, you’ll notice that, over time, your afternoon crash will disappear! You might also notice your caffeine dependence and metabolism improve, too! ✨

This is something that you could, and should, add to your morning routine whether you’re home or away. 🏡✈️ On my most recent trip to Ireland, I made sure to hold off on my beloved coffee until I had some brekkie.

Try drinking water, warm lemon water, or room temp lemon water in the morning if you need something to drink before breakfast. The change will be tough, but I believe in you!! 💕

PS - this is relevant for women AND men! However, women will also experience hormonal benefits to stabled blood sugar levels. 🤩

The 2024 EWG Dirty Dozen list is out, but what is it exactly?

The Dirty Dozen is a list of twelve fruits and vegetables with the highest levels of pesticides. Each year, fruits and vegetables are tested for pesticide levels and added to or removed from the Dirty Dozen list. 🍎

Created by the Environmental Working Ground (EWG), the list is a great starting point to reduce the level of pesticides you consume.

The foods on the dirty dozen should be purchased in organic form, when possible. 🍑🍇

July is my favorite month, but I might be a little biased since I’m a July baby 🤩

Let’s share our monthly intentions and keep each other accountable! Here are mine:

1. Morning sunlight - I usually take the pup out for a walk in the morning, but I want to start spending more time in the sun before heading to the office. 🌞
2. Eat more fresh & seasonal fruits - I’m crazy for fresh fruits year round, but I want to focus on eating seasonal and local fruits more 🍓
3. Prioritize family time - Family is SO important to me. I’ll get to see some of my fam later this month, and I’m so excited! 🥰
4. Spend more time in nature - Hiking, swimming, adventuring. I want it all! 🦋
5. Fresh juice every day - I hope to make juicing more of an everyday thing than just a detox tool. I’ve been craving watermelon and orange juice like crazy! 🍉

What are your July intentions? I can’t wait to hear what we’re going to do together!
